stop the commercial sexual exploitation of children?" will feature
the Japan Network AgainstTrafficking in Persons (JNATIP) co-chair,
Yoko Yoshida. Ms. Yoshida, a lawyer, will will speak about the following

Japan's place in these trends, child victims of trafficking and
Japan's trafficking

*Human Trafficking Related News (in Japanese)
http://www.polarisproject.jp/cases There are teen-age girls who are searching for men who
will give them food and a place to stay on internet dating sites.
In exchange for a place to stay, the men demand sex.

Demanding for sexual favors in exchange for a place to stay or money for food
is forced prostitution; in the case of children, might they also be
forced to appear
in pornography? According to the UN Optional Protocol, youth under the
age of 18 who are prostituted or exploited in pornography are victims
of trafficking.
There's an increase in child victims who are forced into prostitution or
pornography by adults they meet on the internet. What should we as
adults tell teens to make them aware of this issue?
