*Support Polaris on your Blog! Donate for Free*
I know human trafficking is a huge problem, but what can I do to help?
If you have ever thought so, please start from supporting Polaris
Japan through free online donation and telling your friends that
"human trafficking exists in Japan!" through "E-Kokoro!"
"E-Kokoro!"(
http://www.ekokoro.jp/)is a Japanese website where you
could donate for free just by clicking or shopping online.
Polaris is a proud recipient of donation through E-Kokoro!
http://www.ekokoro.jp/ngo/polaris/index.html (Polaris's page on E-Kokoro! in Japanese)
Once you register at E-Kokoro!, you can select Polaris Japan as
your designated organization for donation. Then your one-click
donation would support Polaris Japan. Also, when you shop online
at stores such as The Body Shop, BELLE MAISON, Muji, and HMV through
E-Kokoro!, you could earn points that will be donated to Polaris
Project.
Please join E-Kokoro! at
http://www.ekokoro.jp/about/index.html And E-Kokoro! has a blog tool you can add on your weblog to spread
the words about one-click donation and the organization you support.
http://www.ekokoro.jp/blogtool/ If you have a weblog, please add E-Kokoro!'s blog tool and ask your
visitors to take a small action to help eliminate human trafficking!

* NPO Polaris Project Japan's Inaugural Meeting
Polaris Japan has started as a branch office of Polaris Project, a
501(c) nonprofit organization in the United States. Polaris Japan's
organizational status has been a "voluntary group," and has not
been incorporated as a Specified Nonprofit Corporation under the
Japanese NPO law.
Now it has been five years since we started Japan Office. This year
we aim to incorporate Polaris Japan as an official Specified
Nonprofit Corporation in Japan in order to make our base more solid
and our organization more transparent.
On June 13, Polaris Japan had an inaugural meeting for incorporation.
We expect that Polaris Japan's incorporation will be granted by fall
this year if paperwork would be processed without any problems.
